Agile management is an often overlooked part of Agile transformations. There is a wealth of information available to team members, software engineers, and project managers about how to be Agile, but relatively little information is available to managers and leaders. However, as organizations adopt Agile, not only do team members and project managers need to learn new practices, but managers and leaders also need to learn a new approach to managing and leading Agile organizations. Research shows that “traditional-style” managers are the biggest obstacle to transitioning to Agile working methods. Furthermore, “old-style” management is not needed in an Agile organization. Managers and leaders need to learn what their new role is in agile organizations. Attending Management 3.0 training will give people an understanding of the new role of management in an Agile organization.
