Leonard Vorobej

Leonard Vorobej is an experienced Agile and digital transformation expert with over a decade of experience working with organizations of all sizes in Lithuania and abroad. He is a certified Scrum Master, Product Owner, and ICAgile professional, actively consulting companies on project management, organizational change, and Agile implementation.

During his career, Leonardas has held various leadership positions, from Agile Project Manager at the international game development company Wargaming to Scrum Master at Swedbank Lithuania, where he led teams in developing and implementing solutions that enable secure integration of external systems with bank services (Open Banking). He also held the position of Project Management Manager at the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania, where he coordinated strategic IT projects.

Currently, Leonardas works in the Digital Initiatives Department of the State Digital Solutions Agency (VSSA, formerly IVPK). Leonardas oversees the development of state IS, assesses the necessary documentation, develops new state-level initiatives (e.g. govGIT - state software code repository), and contributes to AI (artificial intelligence) initiatives within the institution.

Leonardas led the Agile Lithuania community for five years as the organization's president and actively contributed to the development of Agile culture in Lithuania. He is also the founder and CEO of Smart IT, where he has been responsible for IT solutions and service development since 2008.

Leonardas is known for his analytical thinking, ability to quickly see the main problems, strong communication skills and good sense of humor. His work is characterized by professionalism, flexibility and consistency - he is able to combine the highest quality standards with the pragmatic 80/20 principle. Constantly interested in innovations and innovations, Leonardas actively shares his knowledge at conferences and seminars, helping organizations create real value through sustainable change.
