This 2-day (16 academic hours) training is not only for Scrum masters, but also for whole product / project development team.

Designed for anyone who wants to work with or within an Agile team. The Scrum Master Skills training course is ideal for teams and organizations that have little knowledge of Agile and need practical and memorable instructions on how to apply Agile principles, best practices and the Scrum method to their work.

Description

The Scrum Master Skills training course is a two-day training course on all the principles of Agile, the concepts and practices that define the Scrum system. Agile Coach team lecturers engage participants through a variety of exercises, games, simulations and other interactive elements and provide an opportunity to try out different practices, share different experiences and discuss.

  • Why and when Agile?

    • Advantages of Agile

    • Agile vs. traditional project management methodologies

    • Agile methods and practices

  • What is Scrum?

  • Scrum events:

    • Sprint process,

    • Review,

    • Retrospective,

    • Measuring progress,

    • Planning;

  • Scrum team roles and responsibilities

  • The role of the Scrum Master (SM) - importance and responsibilities:

    • Working with Scrum teams,

    • Team support,

    • Assistance to the Product Owner,

    • Help for the organization;

  • Product Backlog, requirements, planning, sprint Backlog, User stories, Acceptance Criteria, DoD;

  • Preparing for the first Sprint;

  • Measuring progress using Agile metrics and reports

  • Scrum simulation - practical classes / exercises / games, discussions, etc.

Duration:

Two days (16 academic hours) in the classroom / 3 days (3 x 5 academic hours) remotely.

Training participants will receive an Agile Coach Agile Project Management Training Certificate.
